彼らの７枚目となるスタジオアルバムからのシングルです。ボーカルのアダムはこの曲についてTwitterで「何かを失った経験のある人のための曲で、つまりは僕たちみんなに向けての曲さ」と言っています。

Maroon 5のカバー曲「Three Little Birds」です。

Bob Marleyの「Three Little Birds」をMaroon 5がカバーしたものです。
クラシックなので聞いたことがある人も多いとおもいます。

この”Three little birds”とはいったい何を表しているのでしょうか。はっきりとは分かっていませんが、Bob Marleyのサポートシンガーグループであった「I Three」が女性３人(１人はBob Marleyの奥さん)であったことから彼女たちのことでは？という説や、単にBobの飼っていた鳥のことでは？という説もあるようです。

彼らの新しいアルバム「Red Pill Blues」からの一曲。

個人的には映画でよくあるような、
男性が過去の過ちを悔いて、幸せそうにしている元恋人に
最後にもう一度やり直せないかアタックしていくような、

サビの場面ではドレスを着て美しい彼女に対し、振り向いてくれ
と願う様子を歌っている感じがします。
